The Cape Coral Community Redevelopment Agency welcomes people of all ages to live, shop, work, dine and be entertained.
Our mission is to facilitate the emergence of a vibrant and sustainable urban village where everyone who lives or visits here is welcome and feels at home.
Currently we are engaged with Economic Development programs to assist our existing businesses, incentivize new businesses, working with developers, bringing higher education, and business education programs to South Cape. We are also working on infrastructure improvements, undergrounding electric transmission lines, and the purchase and rehabilitation of the former Golf Course.
Throughout 2011-2012, the South Cape CRA will see the resurfacing of Cape Coral Parkway, a stormwater demonstration project, and the largest infrastructure improvement the CRA has funded to date, the undergrounding of electrical transmission lines.
The Cape Coral Community Redevelopment Agency is a special dependent district of the City of Cape Coral. Funding for our programs come from a portion of the ad valorem taxes paid by the property owners within the district. We receive both city and county tax revenue.
We invite you to join us and become part of the process.
We are always pleased to present and inform the community on the South Cape CRA, to schedule a speaking engagement, please contact CRA staff via the contact information at the bottom of this webpage, or by clicking 'Contact Us', above.
